Is the download deluxe version for 2017 the same for a laptop and desktop? It says Schedule F is accessible on a desktop, but I use a laptop.

I don't believe I need to upgrade to the self-employed version, but I do need to access Schedule F. I was able to do so on the 2016 Deluxe version.
