Yes, enter the amount that you received. If you did not receive all the stimulus payments, the program will calculate what you are owed.
Yes----they are the same thing. What are you trying to do? If you received a letter 6475 about the EIP payment---that is the $1400 per person stimulus payment that went out in 2021. You need to enter the amount in the recovery rebate credit section of Federal Review.
Yes, they both have the same meaning. For tax year 2021 the stimulus payment/EIP3 is the payment received from the the IRS in the March - May 2021 timeframe in the amount of $1,400 for each taxpayer and dependent on the 2020 tax return.
Yes. And on your tax return it is called the Recovery rebate credit on line 30. The 3rd Stimulus payment is for 2021 and came out starting in March 2021. It was 1400 person. You only report that one on your 2021 return. If you got the 600 Stimulus payment in Dec-February that was the second one for 2020.
If you got the 3rd Stimulus payment you will get IRS letter 6475 reporting what they sent you. You have to enter what you got to see if you got the right amount or qualify for more.
