My birthday is right and has been verified through the SSA and the IRS is still rejecting my return
@clovett43 You will have to print, sign and file by mail.
I don’t understand why after I updated my Information with the SS administration they are still telling me my birth is wrong 😑
When did you update Social Security? It may take awhile for the IRS to get the updated info from SS. You may have to mail your return or put in the wrong birthdate. Do you know what it was on file?
How to mail a return from the Online version

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.
Can’t you opt out of filling for yourself and have them file for you to skip having to mail it in?
Huh? Have who file for you? Only you can file your return.
That's what I did! I went to a professional and they were able to file my taxes without having to mail them in.
My oldest dependant is 16. I have electronically filed with TurboTax for over 5 years. This is the first year of issues. First, a glitch imported 3 of the 4 dependants information messed up but was not caught in the check/verification period. Still rejected. Called IRS and they have my 16yo as a 19 yo. The woman said it was like that for years till I pointed out the return she used to verify who I was was correct. Neither her nor her supervisor could correct it. Said to paper file with her birth certificate and a note, then contact the SSA who reported it wrong.
Have to call. Took me about 15 minutes to get through.
if you had a tax person do your taxes for you, they always seem to put day, then month then year on your taxes so when you try to file yourself it will reject it. you will need to update your birthday with social security. hope this helps.
YES and I have reviewed all the paperwork and everything is correct

If you have verified with the Social Security Administration that the information for the date of birth is correct and the IRS continues to reject your e-filed tax return, then your only recourse is to print and mail your tax return.
