Why is TT Desktop 2024 asking for a 5 digit PIN when the IRS IPPIN is 6 digits? I file my return using the 6 digit number and it keeps getting kicked back. I input my AGI from 2023 as well from my 2023 return. What am I doing wrong?

there are two separate PIN numbers that may be on your tax return. If your PIN has six digits, it's an IP PIN. Here's where to enter it:

1. Sign in to TurboTax Online.
2. Select Other Tax Situations. 
3. Select Start or Update to the right of Identity Protection PIN.
4. Answer the first question Yes.
5. Select  Add to the right of your name.
6. Enter the number on the next screen.
7. Continue your tax return.

Is your efile rejecting for the AGI?  Try entering 0 for the AGI. The IRS might have processed your return later so the AGI didn't get entered in time.  Especially if you mailed it.  That works for most people. See,

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them.  You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places.  Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.
