If you file a joint return with spouse is the AGI the same for both people

I just tried this today morning and it worked for me as well.. @manel  i dont think u can enter it as 0 next year... the only reason i entered 0 was .. last year.. my wife status was with ITIN. this year she has a ssn. I believe the automatic system is not able to match the SSN and ITIN and expecting 0. Ideally, if we file jointly we should enter the primary person's AGI if the spouse is not employed..

Same for me as well. My wife had ITIN last year and got her SSN in 2017. The automatic system expects '0' as ger AGI. Thanks for all the comments here. It helped a lot.

Do you happen to remember if you put 0 for just one or both? Having both the correct AGI is not working.

@Marbeltaxes1983 Where do I find my AGI?

https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/agi/help/how-do-i-find-last-year-s-agi/01/25947

Your 2018 tax return shows your 2018 Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) If you filed a joint return then the AGI is the same for each of you.

Form 1040        line 7

If you are using the same TT account that you used last year, you should also be able to find this number in your Tax Home for 2018

If you file a joint return with spouse is the AGI the same for both people

If the previous year tax was filed with spouse's ITIN and the spouse received SSN in the current year, AGI should be $0. This should be added to the FAQ section.

IRS keeps rejecting our taxes (electronically)  We put the same AGI in for both spouses.  why is it being rejected?

I had this problem I tried like 4 different times to put my agi as hers since that’s what it requires but then I put zero and it worked
