What options were you provided? You can change your refund method by following the steps in the below TurboTax FAQ.

**Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post
**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"

Did you select to have the fees deducted from your refund? You have to use Direct Deposit for that. So you have to pay the fees first by credit card to get a refund check.

If i gave the irs authority to take money from my checking account at time of filing and they didn't take it but sent me a letter with interest and penalties tacked on
