TurboTax 2017 CD TurboTax has stopped working. Windows is searching for the problem. Windows will close program and notify you if a solution is available? Help

I’m using a dell core I7 windows 7. I tried defragmenting, downloading with virus off, updated windows, & no luck. I have the past 4 years of TurboTax on my computer and they work fine. WiFi is Sprectrum.

Any further info on this?  Those "trouble shooting" tips don't work.. typical "try this, try that" answer that doesn't address the problem.  I am suspicious of a more recent Windows Update that rendered TurboTax unusable.
