I received a email that stated my "W-2 has arrived , You're now ready to file." Does that mean my W2 is with turbo tax?Because I have not received any W2 yet?

TurboTax does not have your W-2., nor does TurboTax get that information and enter it without any effort from you. Whether you key it in, snap a photo of it,  or import it, YOU have to enter it on your own tax return.  Your W-2 comes from your employer.  Employers have until January 31 to issue your W-2.  Some employers are partnered with TT to allow you to import your W-2 in to your tax return.  You do need some information from the actual W-2 in order to do the import.  If your employer has not yet issued W-2’s you have to wait.  Do not file a tax return unless ALL of your W-2’s have been entered on the SAME tax return.

Ok, i was a a little confused on the wording of the email sent by turbo tax. They worded exactly like this. " W2s from first logistics have arrived. You are now ready to file for free." I havent recieved my W2 yet so thats why it seemed a little confusing to me. Thanks for the information and answer to my question!
