Since you purchased the CD, that means you have the installation/activation code. I'm not sure, but I think you can download the CD somewhere in your account settings or profile, then use the activation code you got with the purchased produce to install it. HOpefully, someone from TTX can confirm one way or the other?
The person who processed your refund request made the decision that you had waited too long and there is no other way to get a refund.
Thank you for your reply. I spoke with TT help, i was told the disk was corrupt - easiest way was to seek refund since I could not use the desktop version and purchase online version. When applying for refund on the CD purchase price, I was notified that the time frame to request a refund had lapsed. I have extenuating circumstances i would like to present, and needed a point of contact @ TT.
taxlady28 - so you are saying that there are no extenuating circumstances that can be presented ? Seems like that's not a customer service based Corporation.
How is the CD corrupt? Did you get it installed or what happened? They should have just put the download in your account. Did you use the 16 digit License Code yet? You can try to download it.
Use the download method instead of the CD. It has more advantages over the CD. Then you can also download it another computer or if you need to reinstall it. Or just buy the Download from Turbo Tax or Costco etc.
There should be a card in the CD case on on the CD envelope that says how to download it and you will need the 14 or 16 digit code from it to enter.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I need a contact at Turbo Tax not installation intructions.
You had 60 days to mail the corrupted disk with the receipt and get a replacement disk. There is no program where your money gets refunded no matter what the circumstances.
taxlady - Are you a turbow tax associate ?
No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”
