So if you entered your bank info, double check the routing number and account number with your bank. Maybe the IRS couldn't pull it out of your account. Some banks use different routing numbers for refunds and payments.
Or are you confusing the tax due with the Turbo Tax fees? You had to pay the fees with a credit card.
Your proof of payment is dependent on how you chose to pay the taxes owed.
A canceled check if paid by mailing a check with the payment voucher, your bank account statement showing the amount paid if paid by direct debit or your credit card statement showing the payment if paid using a credit card.
TurboTax does not know when or if you paid the taxes owed so TurboTax would not have a receipt since TurboTax did not provide the payment.
How you chose to pay the Federal taxes owed will be on the Filing Instructions page for your tax return.
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.
This will take you back to the 2023 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
