Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

I paid for turbotax at Costco, but it is still asking me for my credit card. Why?

(online) I was able to enter the code. It gave me the "Code successfully applied" message. But the next page still says $40 price... and then it asks for my credit card.

You are posting from online TurboTax---so it looks like you bought desktop software and used the wrong thing--online Deluxe.    You do not "log in" to use desktop software.  You download it to your own hard drive and open the program on your own computer.

Call support for help to move the data you entered online to the software you purchased.

I had the same issue. It took a while to sign in to Turbotax and when I did I was charged the State filing fee only. Don't have the amount taken from your refund, use a credit card

What do i do now to correct this problem.  When I entered I used the code on the Turbo Tax disc.  I've entered all my data and am ready to submit and I asked to pay for the service again.

@Dgb-8520 We cannot tell what software you are using.   We do sometimes see people who get confused and "log on" to use online software instead of the CD/download they paid for.   If you did that you will need to switch to the CD/download software.

You need to switch to the desktop software to get what you paid for.  You have to download it, update it and open it up from your own hard drive to use it.

If what you are talking about is the $25 state e-file fee, that is a standard fee when you use the CD/download--you get the software to prepare the state return but there is  a fee to e-file it.  You can avoid the state e-file fee if you print and mail the state.
