There are no extensions to pay tax due. An extension only gives you extra time to prepare your return but estimated tax has to be paid by the April 15 deadline. It is too late to request an extension to give you more time to file. Prepare your return and get it filed as soon as you can. Pay an amount you can manage and try to set up a payment plan.
If you owe tax due, you have to pay it yourself by the filing deadline on April 15, 2024.
If you have federal tax due you can pay by mailing your payment with the 1040V voucher, (which has the address printed on it, having the payment taken out of a designated bank account, or you can pay directly on the IRS website.
