If you received a W-2, you can file using TurboTax Free Edition. If you received a 1099-MISC, you cannot use the Free Edition. If you are required to file (see link below), TurboTax will walk you through reporting your income and filing your tax return. Even if you are not required to file, you can choose to file to claim a refund for any income taxes withheld from your pay.
