I have received notice of a price increase after Feb 28, I started my return a month ago and am atill waiting for 1099s from a broker. I do not expect a price increase

i have the same question but am getting different answers. i want to Buy the TT and be able to change my data and THEN file after the price goes up. Are u sure that if I pay today they wont charge me more when i finish up and Efile. There seems to be a conflict in the answers. thanx

OK i still don't get it. i can buy the cd today at totays price (cant use the cd on my chromebook, but if i pay today and dont FILE today, i will have to pay additional money other than what i would be paying today when i file later.does that make sense to you.?

Yes, you can pay for your TurboTax fees and then return to file your tax return when ready. Please see How can I pay my TurboTax Online fees? for more information.

@nicogrande  Do you have a computer you can install the CD on?  Don't buy the CD if you only have access to the Chromebook.  You need a full Windows or Mac computer to install the Desktop program.  If you do buy the CD program there is a extra  $20 fee to efile the state return or you can print and mail state for free.  That goes up to $25 on March 1.

If you pay for the Online version you still can change your return before you file.
