I have filed my tax. It looked like everything went through. but right now it is now showing that my e-file went through and when I submit, it just keeps saying duplicate

I think I checked on the 'my spouse can be declared dependent by somebody'

I was filing 'married joint'

it was checked after I went through the whole process =(

Since the dependent exemption is gone from 2018 - 2025  that should make no difference to a joint return.   You can start the amendment process if you like then change that answer and confirm that nothing changed on the 1040X column B.
