When completing my New Jersey return and got an unexpected surprise! I was getting an 800 dollar refund where I have made payments for the past ten years. Being a skeptic I reviewed my return and found the amount of withholding taken on my 1040nj was twice that of the amount I had entered from my W2! Oops, you guaranty your returns so if I submit, will you cover the bill back from the great state of New Jersey. I find it hard to believe! I have tried to get you to fix this, but now you ask me to complete in a different forum. I have overridden the duplication caused by a coding error in your product! I will not file a fraudulent return due to your error and neglect to respond to earlier request! I have and had provided pictures where your product has failed I feel sorry for all the poor SOBs who filed their return with this error , collected a check and then spent it. I hope you plan to do your due diligence and inform all your clients that purchased this product and inform them of the consequence's of your error. All I have been doing is trying to get your to correct the mistake so I can file a clean return. I could provide a description of the problem but the pictures speak volumes
You need to do a better job in providing direction and communication, it is annoying to complete multiple times because of the lack of clarity and having to go through a AI window where a simple email would have sufficed
I also got a message of an invalid HTML when posting that is on you also BAD code!

If you have Forms mode, you can make corrections on worksheets, without overriding.
An override will prevent you from e-Filing.
It should be a simple matter to enter the correct amounts i.e. zero where it should be zero.
Also you are posting your SSN on a public forum.
Will remove thanks
Thanks for the heads up I have redacted the information. I was originally working in private messaging did not pickup the nuance. Since New Jersey requires you to either pay for e-file or enter your information in their on-line app (a re-entry of your federal return). It is not required by law to e-file when using purchased software as in New York! When I am making a payment they get a paper copy, they can't think out of the box, always looking for more income from the taxpayer instead of looking at savings
I reopened turbo tax and received another update, the forms have been corrected
who made the entry on line 18a of the tax payment worksheet? it should be $0
There was no entry in the supporting work sheet, so Turbo tax did it ! An update just arrived and fixed it
