I had gambling winnings, and they are requesting a W-2G or 1099R. I claimed my winnings, but where is this in my TurboTax documents?

Gambling losses can only be deducted up to the amount of the gambling winnings.
Gambling winnings are reported on Form 1040 Schedule 1 on Line 8b. The amount from Part I of Schedule 1 Line 10 flows to Form 1040 Line 8.
Gambling Losses are reported on Form 1040 Schedule A as a Other Itemized Deductions. Gambling losses are not a one-for-one reduction in winnings. Your total itemized deductions reported on Form 1040 Schedule A must be greater than the standard deduction for your filing status to have any tax benefit.

Who is requesting a W2G?   Turbo Tax doesn’t have copies of your W2 or 1099R, only the info you entered from them.   You need to get another copy from the payer.  The Document section is only for items you uploaded separately from your tax return.

The basic online Turbotax may not have a provision for entering gambling winnings or losses.

They are not requesting a 1099R for gambling winnings.   A 1099R is a tax document issued by a financial institution to show distributions you received from a retirement account such as an IRA or 401k.

You could have a W-2G from a place where you gambled, such as a casino.

TurboTax never has copies of your tax documents.  TT only has the information that you entered from those documents; the information can be found in the worksheets that are part of the pdf of your tax return.

If the IRS is requesting a copy of a W-2G, seek it from wherever you won the gambling money.
