I get a system glitch, where my state return pulls my W2 info for both me and my spouse. 5 specialists agreed it’s a bug but I can’t get tech person to fix it. Any idea?

I did 4 screen shares with customer service and all of them agreed that the system pulls info from a wrong place. It is a glitch. I tried everything: delete, re-type, different browsers, etc. The customer service has no ability to connect with a software engineer or anyone who can get into weeds of the software itself and keep connecting me to tax experts who just confirm to me that it is a software problem. Any  idea how can I bring it to the attention of a software engineer or someone who can look at it and fix it?

I know of no way to get turbotax to fix its software.  I do know that for most software companies when a "bug" is identified, they create an "incident" or "problem" report and give it a tracking number.  Perhaps you can ensure that is done and follow this tracking number.

I thought I knew a way around this problem by making changes directly to the Forms, but since you are using the Online product, it appears the Online product does not support this function.  I'm pretty sure the download product does.

However, you may be able to view or print your state forms - or at least try to.

If you can see or print your state forms, you may be able to use some or most of the data from these forms to manually complete and fill out your state returns and file them via mail.  I think you may get charged to print the state forms.
