Where do you think it told you to enter a photo of your driver's license?   Go back through the FILE section and read the screens again.

Where in the program does it ask to upload your ID?  A picture ID can't be uploaded to Turbo Tax for a return.  This is a public forum and your ID is not needed here as well.

I'm looking for this as well. I don't know why the others are answering like they didn't have to, when creating your account it asks to upload a photo id to make sure you say who you say you are, the same way they ask for it when you go to H&R block to have your taxes done. If anyone actually has the answer to this, it would be super helpful. I uploaded mine, but I still have to upload for my husband.

This is the TurboTax website to enter your information to create an account, as you can see there is no requirement for a picture ID - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/sign-up/

In an effort to combat identify theft, many states are requiring or recommending that you submit you drivers license or identification card information to prove your identify.

Does the email give you directions on how to submit the identify information?
