Try fixing the error in your return first:
Sign in to your account and select the Fix my return button. Follow any “fix it” instructions to update the information causing the rejection.
Note: Not all rejections will have explicit guides to fix the information. You’ll need to navigate to the program area to address the cause of the rejection, then proceed to the final step.
If you are not able to do that and If you did not have any Capital Gains or Losses or any carryovers appearing on Schedule D, you can go to Tax Tools/Tools/Delete a Form. Scroll down to the State Forms and delete Schedule D and any Schedule D Worksheets.
Do not delete any of the Federal Forms if you have already efiled your Federal Return.
