If you have employer-based health coverage or an individual plan that you pay for (e.g., self-employed) and do not have health coverage through Healthcare.gov or a state portal, you won't get (and don't need) a 1095-A. On the Turbotax main screen, click on Federal Taxes >> Deductions & Credits >> Medical >> Affordable Care Act (1095-A) and it will ask you if you received a 1095-A. Click on 'no' and you should be good-to-go.
On the other hand, if you have health coverage under an Affordable Care Act Marketplace in 2021, you will need to go to your health insurance portal and print out a 1095-A.
Hope this helps.
