I am trying to enter a 1099-MISC. I'm getting the error "Oops! It looks like you're entering your spouse's info." I can't proceed. This is a bug. What should I do?

I have tried to get on the phone with Intuit for two days now and they have called the wrong number, hung up on me, left me on hold for hours, the whole deal. I just want to get through but I don't want Turbotax to force me to say something that is false just to enter this info. Don't they have tech support?

Yes we do have tech support, through our contact us feature. While you wait to get in touch with us, try deleting your browser's cookies. Please see this Turbo Tax FAQ regarding  How to delete cookies! If that doesn't work try using a different browser all together. You can also try starting over from scratch. See our FAQ on how you can Clear and start over.
