I am hung up on Form 8824 Like-Kind Exchange and I don't know what this is! Please help.

Form 8824 is used to report each exchange of business or investment property for property of a like kind. A like kind exchange is used to defer (delay) paying taxes on gains of the sale of business assets when the proceeds are reinvested in the same type of business property.

To delete Form 8824 (If it is not needed):

• Login to your TurboTax online account

• Click Take Me To My Return or Continue My Return

• In the upper right hand corner, click My Account and then click Tools; A popup screen will appear

• Click Delete a Form

• Click Delete next to Form 8824
