Hello All -
I was finally able to e-file my KY state tax return yesterday (02/10/2022) without receiving the previous error message "requiring SSN or EIN for each dependent care provider". So, it appears that Turbo Tax has now fixed this software flaw in the KY e-file software. Kudo's to Turbo Tax for addressing this issue in short order!
We are so happy it was resolved. If you have more questions, please feel free to reach out.
Turbo Tax let me completely e-file both Fed & Ky State..Even charged me for both efiles, but I now get an Email stating we are still working on Ky E-file Error & will let me know when solved..You guys said it was solved, now I'm getting Email tonite after I efile that it's not solved
WTH???
Hi,
The internal issue in Turbotax is that the information worksheet is not being updated and reflects incorrect information. Go into the form inside turbotax and manually correct it. View>Forms> It is one of the first forms KY info worksheet or similar. you know you have the right form because the information is incorrect. Once i corrected it i was able to efile my taxes. However, i had to skip the drivers license part because NONE of the formats for dates works! it took it anyway without a drivers license.
Regards, Andrea
It could be that the email was sent in error, as I am showing this issue has been resolved. If you have already e-filed your Federal and State return and they have been Accepted, you should be good to go.
If your returns haven't been accepted or rejected, you would just want to continue checking on the e-file status of your return.
