I am filling out my 2015 tax return and can't import my 1099B data from Fidelity. What are my options?

TurboTax software says to enter it manually but there are over 1000 transactions.  There's got to be a way to import the data.

TurboTax 2015 does not support Schedule D Line 1a and Line 8a. That leaves the mail in option, using the consolidated 1099-B statement from the broker as your Form 8949 equivalent.
Note: mailed-in Form 8949 or equivalent must be mailed separately to an IRS facility in Austin , TX for receiving such material.
I'm not sure how this works if you are already filing everything on paper .

You have no options and have to enter them manually. Generally, it's only possible to import for the current tax year, which right now is 2017. But I do question if there's an easier way, as entering a thousand lines of data will take forever. @TaxGuyBill is there a simpler way this can be done for a prior year return? (2015).

You can just post the Totals as a Summary (for each category, short, long, covered, non-covered), then MAIL the 1099-B with the tax return.  I think you usually call the Summary items as "See Attached" (rather than a stock name).

It may be wiser to prepare your own Schedule D manually taking advantage of Line 1a and 8a, once the tax calculations have been done by turbotax.
