How to get in touch with tech support. I don't need tax support.

How do I get in touch with tech support?  I don't need tax support. It's frustrating that I'm receiving an error message without any resolution and get chat or talk to anyone.  The looping error I've been receiving is "Hmm, looks like we hit a slight snag in this section" in these areas.  Does anyone have advice other than filing an extension, which seems ridiculous to me.

Phone support is not provided with the Free Edition.  If you are using a paid version of the software or if you purchased PLUS you can get phone support when customer support is there.  Otherwise, post your question here and someone will try to help.

There is no tech support.  The representative who answers the phone assists with tax support or tech support.

With TT Premier 2024, it comes with 1 FREE state download.  Tried to download state of California, TT is asking me to pay $40.  Then I get an error message, "The State product for TT could not be downloaded; error in downloading your State product".

Turbo Tax Premier 2024 includes 1 Free State download.  When I tried to download California, asking me to pay $40.  Message:  The State product for Turbo Tax could not be downloaded".  Why?????
