Uh-oh. Did you prepare your return in Online TurboTax by mistake instead of using the CD/download desktop version purchased at Office Max? The 2 versions are not interchangeable. If that's what you did, we can tell you how to download the *.tax2023 data file you prepared in Online TurboTax so you can open and finish/file it in your desktop software you purchased.
Are you also preparing a state return? If you bought Deluxe at Office Max, it comes in 2 versions--a combo version Deluxe Federal & State, or a Deluxe Federal-only version with no state return.
Sorry you can't apply the Desktop CD/Download program and License Code to the Online version. They are separate prices and work different. So you need to get a refund for the Desktop program and pay for the Online version. Or switch to your Desktop program.
You need to install the program on your computer and move your online return to the Desktop program. How to install the CD/Download program with a License Code

Then you can download the .tax2023 data file without paying for Online and continue in the desktop version.
First save your return as a tax data file from Online

See how to switch to the Desktop program,

After you get the program installed the first thing to do before you open your tax return is to update the program and install any state programs you had. Then open your file. So you first might need to start a fake return to be able to download the state program (go to FILE - NEW). Enter some basic information, then go to the state tab and download the state program. Then try to open your existing return, go to FILE - OPEN
