TT is still showing 70 1/2 as the RMD age. Husband is now 70 so I'm concerned that next year if this isn't fixed, TT will require some kind of action.

That is simply the wording on the screen that has not been updated yet (a cosmetic error) - the software has been updated to 72..
On the prompt "Keep every dollar you deserve ...", I press "Continue in TTAX Deluxe" and nothing happens. I press it again and TTAX hangs (Not Responding). This happens over and over, even after I reboot with no other program open.

I have a federal capital gain of 40K with 3K non-taxable to state of AL. When I enter 3K as non-taxable to AL state, the form 40NR line 5 B shows 3K for capital gain for All Sources and line 5 C shows 0K for capital gain for Alabama only. Line 5B should show 40K and line 5C should show 37K since 3K was not taxable to AL.
First I was getting Error Code 1306. Now I am getting error code 106.
When I try to efile my VA state return, it says I need to select a federal return to efile at the same time. I already efiled my federal, it was accepted and I received a refund. That is clear on the page it sends me back to to "select" a federal return. So I can't efile my VA state return. Software won't let me go forward.

I have several k-1's which reporting income and/or loss. Unlike other years, only four of the k-1's appear in Schedule E. This results in the erroneous reporting of my net k-1 income.
In addition, Turbotax is not correctly calculating my k-1 income. For example, I have net rental real estate income reflected on line 2 of one of my K-1's. The K-1 also shows a Section 493 deduction. I entered the income on line 2 and the adjustment on line 13(v) of the turbotax k-1 form for this partnership However. only the loss line 13 negative adjustment is imported into Schedule E The income is not. This results in a significant underreporting of my income. I have attempted to overcome this by overriding values in the schedule E partnership worksheet. However, this error needs to be resolved in the software. This error could be tied to the error in the first paragraph, as a separate partnership entry for the income was not carried over to Schedule E.
Also, the data source function appears not to work on many entries. This makes it difficult to find the source of issues with my return. Please help.
error in turbotax ?? 1040 sr line 11b subtracts from line 8b ok but capital loss carryover line 1 acts as tho the math is reversed changing the carry over #. Looks like it started in 2018 premier & 2019
Please advise
TurboTax Deluxe 2020 does not correctly handle a Form 1099-R which represents an RMD from an inherited IRA that is not actually an RMD and was rolled over because of the CARES Act.
This is an image of my Form 1099-R Smart Worksheet. Please note that line 7 which is supposed to be a the value from line 1c says -4,342 instead of 0. This cascades an error through my federal form (by deducting too much from my income) and into my Illinois form, which TT20 finally caught in the error review phase.

I do not see that when I do it.
If using the desktop version be sure it is up to date with release r21.
Please dismiss my last post finally read the print & seen the error of my thinking
Thanks
Off the top of my head, there are a few differences in your example. You're not using "Spouse," and there is no value on line 1c (and, therefore, no value on line 7). (Is this an inherited RMD?) My guess is my example requires you to have a 1099-R that has a taxable amount on line 2b but checked "Taxable amount not determined," so you have to enter 0 for 2b (because of the aforementioned CARES Act making RMDs not required).
