There is no discount for Senior Citizens using TurboTax.
The TurboTax Free online edition is for very simple tax returns that do not require any other form or schedule other than the Form 1040. If your tax data requires entry on any other form or schedule then you must upgrade to the Deluxe edition or higher.
If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over with a lower priced edition. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2020 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.
Don't enter the bank name.
Enter a 1099-Int under
Federal Taxes tab
Wages & Income
Interest and Dividends
Interest on 1099INT - Click the Start, Revisit Or Update button
Don't enter the bank or broker name and don't try to import it. It is just as fast and easy to manually enter it. At the bottom pick - Change How I enter my Form
Then on the next screen pick I'll Type it in Myself
There is a Free Edition.
To go back to the Free Edition or a lower version you can try to clear and start over https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/using-turbotax/help/how-do-i-clear-and-start-over-in-turbotax-onli...
In the Turbo Tax Free Edition, information that you can enter is limited now. Why do I have to upgrade from the Free Edition?

Or go to the IRS Free File programs

If you have the BOA App, go to the "Menu" on the top left corner, under"Statement and Documents" there is a subcategory also called "statement and documents". After clicked on it, you will be direct to a new page, and there is a tab called "Tax Statements (download only)". That is where the 1099-INT form locates.
