Hello Experts,
I used Form 8915-E and filed qualified 2020 disaster retirement plan distribution last year and reported 1/3 of the distribution.
How do I file another 1/3 of the remaining qualified disaster retirement plan distribution from last year?
Thank you in advance for your help.

The IRS Form 8915-F is to be used to report the Coronavirus distribution in 2021.
IRS Form 8915-F is still in draft mode on the IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-dft/f8915f--dft.pdf
IRS Form 8915-F instructions - https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-dft/i8915f--dft.pdf

After the 1099-R section, TurboTax asks about 'Disaster Distributions' in a prior year. Type '1099-R' in the Search area, then click on 'Jump to 1099-R' to get there.
If you check the box for 'covid-related' distribution in 2020, the screen opens up with questions and blank fields to enter amounts into.
You will need your Form 8915-E from your 2020 return to enter the amounts.
Hi All,

"You do not have to enter anything for the FEMA number just click on the spacebar or enter any number. Enter any dates.
This is for a Form 8915-E which is only valid on a 2020 tax return. It will not be included with or sent with the filed 2021 tax return.
This is bug in the programming and hopefully will be removed by the end of next week by the programmers."
DoninGA, Thank you!

I see that the Form 8915-F (Spouse Copy) is available now in Turbotax. However, I am not able to enter any numbers.
What steps in Turbotax for do I need to follow to file 1/3 of the remaining qualified 2020 disaster retirement plan distribution from last year which I filed using Form 8915-E?
Thank you for your help in advance.

Great. It worked. Thanks so much!.
Hi. Follow up question, I completed the 8915-F (Spouse Copy) ; however, I am asked by turbotax review to complete Form 8915E-S and asking for 'Disaster name' and 'FEMA Disaster number'.
Do I need to complete Form 8915E-S as well? If yes, what are 'Disaster name' and 'FEMA Disaster number'?
Form 8915E-S: Disaster name must be entered
Disaster name: <=== what should I enter for name?
Part I: Total Distributions Form All Retirement Plans (Including IRAs).
See Table 1 in the instructions for Form 8915-F for the list of qualified 2020 disasters.
FEMA Disaster number <=== what is this#?
Same question... we can't get past it and we're dying here! The update took so long to get and has delayed filing. Plus, don't the TurboTax costs increase if we haven't filed by 3/31/2022? Is there a fix in the works?
