How do I enter the LICENSE CODE from a CD that was purchased

You likely need to explain more.  What does "CD won't start" mean?   When you insert the CD, does it spin but doesn't do anything?  i.e, is no installation begun?   

Or did you mean the CD works OK to install everything, but at the end are you having a problem with the activation screen?  i.e., after installation is the activation screen missing, blank, partially-blank, etc. so you can't enter the license code?   

Are you using the Windows version?

If you don't see the Activation box.  Are you on Windows 10?  See this post for a couple things to try like changing your screen resolution to 800x600

The box itself isn't needed, but is the CD still in the original sleeve?  If so, the license code may be on your CD sleeve or package insert.

Sorry, but without any information at all we have no idea what your situation is.  And this is a 6-page long thread with multiple users with various issues.   If you want to explain your situation, then someone may be able to comment.   This is a public Internet forum so don't post any personal info.

Are you using the Windows or Mac version?  

And are you trying to install the software from a download or CD?

At the end of installation are you encountering a problem with the activation screen--such as a partially blank or non-functioning activation screen--and can't enter the license activation code?

Or did you buy a CD and are wanting to get a downloaded file to use to install the program instead?

Or what???
