Does your spouse access their return using the same login credentials? If not, they would access the 1099 using their login credentials.
You can also contact the bank directly so they can assist you in accessing the 1099.
same problem here. Any solution?

There have been a couple of others with similar problem.
I seem to recall, they had to:
.....log out of Turbotax
...shut down all browsers to make sure they were not logged into that Financial provider anywhere else
...and then restart TTX, and then go to the section to download the Finacial account data, and then it asked for the account PWD again, so the other spouse's account could be used.
Hi Brittany, The problem is that the program will Not let me access the same financial institution a. second. time with a different login. I downloaded my account info; no problem. But when I tried to access the institution a 2nd time to get my wife's account info; it defaulted to my list that had already been accessed. There was No opportunity for me to login in with her credential. This is a program problem. Thank You
That worked today. I tried it yesterday and it did not work. The browser must have been still open? or something else? But no matter it worked today! THANK YOU STEAM TRAIN!!!!
I am having the same issue. I imported my documents from the financial institution but when I try to download my spouse's forms form the same institution it does not allow me to enter her account login info it just automatically downloads my info again.
If you have a single broker for multiple accounts, when selecting to add another account for the same broker: Clear cookies and then search for your broker via the search bar rather than clicking the broker icon. This should allow the screen to input account information and import the data.
Thanks Catina!
Clearing cookies resolved my issue. I was immediately able to download the 2nd 1099 from the same institution with a different login.
