How do I choose a location to save my taxes (MacOS Desktop)?

When I choose "save" TT shows me a non-standard dialog box with no options to navigate my filesystem.

I can show and hide the sidebar. I can select my Documents folder and navigate UP from there. But I can't navigate down into the sub-folders in the Documents folder. I have the option of creating a new folder.

It gives me the option to use column view, list view, or icon view, but those are useless because it does not show me my actual files so there is no "view" for it to change any of these settings.

The rest is just an option to save with or without a password. It does not show me my actual filesystem. Is this "with or without" a password screen covering up the actual file browser?

Now I have to save this thing wherever TT decides it wants, and then move it afterwards. I can't think of any other way to choose a location other than at the root of my Documents folder.

Seems like a bug.
