It just starts out with my son's information. How do I put in a return for me?

Use your own account and user ID----do not use your son's account.

You have to create a new online account for yourself. The TurboTax online editions are for completing only one tax return per account and User ID.

Go to this TurboTax website and start a new tax return with a new User ID - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/
