Did you use Online Deluxe? In that edition a Federal return is 59.99, and a state return is 44.99. Be aware that if you choose to pay those fees out of the Federal refund, there is an additional 39.99 service fee (44.99 for California filer.)
Did you think you were using one of the free products? If you haven't paid, we can give you info on those to see if you qualify for one.
Deluxe is 59.99
State is also a separate 44.99 in all versions above the Free Edition
Total is $104.98 plus any Sales tax
Then if you want the fees deducted from your refund there is an extra 39.99 Refund Processing Service charge (44.99 in California). Which you can avoid by paying with a credit card.
You probably had to upgrade from the Free Edition.
In the regular Turbo Tax Free Edition, information that you can enter is limited now. Under the new tax laws, there are no more simple Form 1040EZ or 1040A's. Everything goes on a little Form 1040 that has six extra "schedules" with it, and if you need any of those schedules, you are not able to use the Free Edition.

If you want to go back to the Free Edition you can Clear and Start Over
