Has the software been updated for the $10,000 unemployment exclusion? I did rerun mine today with no change in my refund amount.

The update for the UC exclusion was made available for the TurboTax online editions.  It is not currently available for the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions.

Did you enter Unemployment Compensation on your tax return?

Look at your tax return.  On Schedule 1 if you entered UC there will be an amount on Line 7 of the form.  The exclusion amount will be on Line 8 of the form as a negative number.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
