Form 3520 Gift from family member, do I fill in box 2a ?

Hello,

I received a sum of money in my home country: my father (non-resident) paid a part of the mortgage on my house there. The sum is over 100k.

I am filling in form 3520 to report this  as a gift and I am confused because there is no box to fill in my father's name and address. There is only box 2a, but that says "Name of foreign trust", but my father paid as a person, not a trust.

Do I need to put his name in the box 55? Do I need to enter any details about my house there (address)?

Thank you

A person who receives a gift does not have to report it on their tax return  No matter how big or small the gift is.

This is not for the tax return, it's for form 3520 which is mailed separately
