I never received the EITC those 5 months it was offered to families with children under the age of 18.  My daughter is 17 she will not turn 18 until later this year.  With that being said do I need to submit something when filing that I hadn't received it?

Your daughter being 17 means that you were not eligible for the advance child tax credit.  Only children under 17.

You mean the advance monthly child tax credit payments---NOT earned income credit.

You can get the child tax credit for children who are younger than 18 at the end of 2021.

If you did not receive any of the advance payments you are not going to receive a letter about them from the IRS.   Just claim your children as usual on your tax return.  Your child tax credit should show up on line 28 of your Form 1040.   Make sure you go through all of the screens in Federal Review before you file your tax return.
