Do you have to pay taxes on a travel baseball team

My husband started a travel baseball team and we are not sure if we need to file or not.

Does he receive money for playing?

No he does not. The only money that is received is for player fees,tournaments and uniforms.

You mean he receives money from the other players?

Yes but he does not make money himself off of the team. The team also has an EIN# doas that matter. I'm sorry this is our first year doing this.

Don't worry about it.  He could just claim it as hobby income and deduct expenses up to the amount of income.

But to do this how do I go about doing it on turbotax?

Hooby income is entered as Miscellaneous Other Income, Hobby, under federal taxes , wages and income.  Try entering the words hobby income in the search window.
