Do I paperclip my paper tax return together?

Do I paperclip my paper tax return together (or do I just staple the W2s to the first page and leave the rest of it unattached)? Also, is it better to pay the taxes due online vs a paper check (I am concerned a paper check would get lost). Thank you in advance for your response.

You can fold them all in together without any metal attaching products. 

As for payment, you are correct, a paper check can get lost in the mail, however you would see when it clears the bank if it never clears, then you can always stop payment.  If you can, an online payment is easier and faster.
