Do I need to report 1099G tax refund from previous year?
I live in Massachusetts but worked in Rhode Island in 2016(did not work in Rhode Island in 2017). I received a 1099G with how much tax refund I received for 2016 tax year. Do I need to do anything with this information?

Do I need to report 1099G tax refund from previous year?
Yes. You should enter the amount(s) in TurboTax because the IRS may access the information via the state/locality and they may contact you for more information if the amount(s) should have been reported on your federal tax return but were not reported.
