Divorce in June 2022

I was divorced at the beginning of June 2022. Is there anything I need to keep in mind when filing 2022 taxes? I plan on sending my ex-spouse a copy of the TurboTax file from 2021 so he can do his own taxes. Should I use a new account for myself or will the interview process screen for the divorce?

Start a new account if you will be using online, because if you use an old account that you used for joint returns it will be really messy and give you errors; it is too hard to get all of the "spouse stuff" out.

If you were divorced by the end of 2022 then you must file Single or maybe Head of Household if you happen to be the custodial parent of the children. You will not file as married.
