Didn't you get all of the first 2 Stimulus payments? How much is on 1040 line 30?
If you claimed a missing stimulus payment on your return but the IRS took it off you have to ask the IRS. They think they already sent it to you. Maybe it went to an account you don't remember. Or you got a check or a card. It was probably easy to miss the debit card in the mail and think it was junk mail. They have to put a trace on it.
How to put a trace on a missing 1st or 2nd Stimulus payment. IRS for Payment Issued but Lost, Stolen, Destroyed or Not Received
See question F3 here, you can expand it to see how to put a trace on it.
I have seen cases where a taxpayer forgot that they had received a stimulus and claimed it on their 2020 return. Also there were people who were mailed a check and never received it. And people who received the stimulus on a debit card and threw it away because they did not know what it was.
If there was no explanation give to you, you can contact the IRS and find out why you did not receive the stimulus amount that TurboTax calculated. They may need to trace a payment that you did not receive.
Happened to a lot of TurboTax users.
Evidently the TurboTax was confusing and prompted you to file an incorrect tax return.
Always print a copy of your completed tax return for your records, and review it carefully before e-Filing.
You will need it if you are audited by the IRS, or to amend if a TurboTax update changes your return or for any other reason,
AND, to find your AGI next year.
Back in February and March most returns started out with giving the stimulus as a refund and you had to tell the program that you received the stimulus or your refund was too high. Many had reduced refunds when the IRS corrected those.
If you were issued a payment and have not received it, see How do I request a payment trace to track my first or second Economic Impact Payments?
