I purchased Intuit turbotax Deluxe at COSTCO on sale for $44.99, which had no disc this time. I had to follow this tiny tiny instructions on the back which took me to a site on-line. No way to get a license for software. No instructions, of course, which was very stressful. I entered all my information into software, which looked entirely different as far as the format. Was not pleased, would not let you change cost filing information once it was entere, didn't have the print options it use to have for printing documents. I finished my taxes and was charged $71.10 for the on-line software plus the $64.00 for the Virginia taxes that I couldn't change once I checked the box for a total of $135.10 to Turbo Tax. Please refund us the $71.10 you changed us for the TurboTax Deluxe software since I had already paid COSTCO $44.99 that DID NOT work so I was stuck with an on-line software that I didn't realize that I was going to charged twice. I'm asking for you to please refund the $71.10 charge we were charged for Turbo tax on-line . We'll just have to take the hit for the Virginia $64 charge, which I got stuck with. Please don't put a software out there next years that DOES NOT work. Thank you.

When you purchase the desktop product, you have to download and install the software. You should have a license code from Costco or the retailer you purchased from. How do I get started with TurboTax Desktop?

After you bought it at Costco did you go to the customer service window to get the actual package with the License Code? Sorry you got stuck in the Online version. I buy from Costco too. Don’t know what you can do now. Take your receipt and cardboard back to Costco and try to get a refund especially since it seems you didn’t get the actual package. Too bad you didn’t stop and post before you paid so we could direct you to how to install the Desktop program.
