I still don’t see how to start over with free version
To go back to the Free Edition or a lower version you can try to clear and start over

In the regular Turbo Tax Free Edition, information that you can enter is limited now. Why do I have to upgrade from the Free Edition?

If you have registered or it won't let you clear to start over and you haven’t paid, you can just abandon this account and start over with a new account. Online is only good for 1 return per account. But you can use the same email address for 5 accounts. How to start another return in the Online version

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2020 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.
I need to switch to the free version of turbox tax not deluxe

Re: Change from turbotax deluxe to free version?
See my answer posted right above your post. Scroll up.
There's a quicker way actually, I just did it. If you have selected Deluxe, then on the left menu scroll to the bottom and expand Tools option, it has an option to degrade to free version. Click on that and it should load the free version with all your data
