Did you receive an email from TurboTax indicating the 2023 federal tax return was rejected? If so, what rejection message and rejection code is in the email?
You must sign onto your TurboTax online account using the exact same User ID that you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
The IRS has not begun to accept or reject 2023 e-files. They will start that on January 29. But--paying your fee does not guarantee that the IRS will accept it. If you made a mistake or used the wrong AGI or wrong Social Security number, for instance, the IRS will reject the e-file. Some rejections can be fixed and then you can e-file it again. And sometimes the problem cannot be fixed and the return has to be printed, signed and mailed instead. You did not pay TurboTax an extra fee to e-file. You paid to use the software to prepare a return that can be either e-filed or filed in an envelope.
But....what return are you really asking about? Last year in 2023, people filed 2022 tax returns. Now in 2024 they are filing 2023 tax returns. Did you just discover that your 2022 return was not filed? If so, it can still be filed. You have to print it, sign and date it in ink, and mail it. E-filing is permanently closed for 2022 tax returns.
You have to access your own account and/or print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.
Start a 2023 return online and enter some personal information so that the menu on the left opens up and lets you access your past year returns.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.
