Why I'm going to need the 2019 turbo desktop. My taxes 2019 is done why Turbo tax just couldn't mailed it in to IRS. I payed $240. I LOST OUT ON MY SIMULUS CHECK Because of TurboTax. You guys are a big SCAM. Just mail my 2019 taxes out to IRS. I'm going on social media and let them know what turbo tax is about.
If you were done you can print it out and mail it. Sorry Turbo Tax can't mail it for you.
Have you filed 2020? You can claim the first 2 Stimulus payments on your 2020 return.
When you go through the federal review tab it will ask how much you got if any. Enter a 0 in the box if you didn't get one. Or to enter your stimulus payment in TurboTax, type "stimulus" (without the quotes) in the Search box, then click the link that says "Jump to stimulus."
After you have entered your tax information and are ready for the Federal Review, it will be the first question.
If you are trying to trigger it, you can go to Other Situations, answer any questions and click Done. The next automatic selection is Federal Review and it will ask about payments received.
If you didn't get one or both of the Stimulus payments or qualify for more it will be the Recovery rebate credit on 1040 line 30. It either adds to your refund or reduced a tax due.
You will get any stimulus payments you qualify for. 2019 tax returns can't be e-filed and you have to print, SIGN, and mail them to the tax authorities. If you started your 2017, 2018, or 2019 return in TurboTax Online but weren't able to file it before the shutdown, you can finish and paper-file it in the TurboTax download software for PC or Mac.
How do I finish a prior-year return that I started in TurboTax Online?
