I keep getting an error message saying "internal connection error." I was able to get one of the four accounts transferred when I went to "add a new account," but that won't work for the other three. I know I can try to do it manually but I paid almost $100 for Turbo Tax so I don't have to figure out if holdings were sold or any of the other tax questions it asks. I didn't have this problem with the cd version but that is no longer sold. I'm really disappointed over the last 3 years with Turbo Tax having trouble updating its software and this time we had trouble downloading it, updating it, and now I can't do my taxes. Over 20 years I have used Turbo Tax so I need it to work when I pay for it.
Anyone know tricks to get it to import so I don't mess up my investment income?

Here’s what we recommend:
First, the Primary owner of the brokerage account must be logged on to import the information. Then, make sure you have selected the Vanguard brokerage account and not the mutual funds account. Customers have found that when they click on the Vanguard icon in the Select financial institutions section, it didn't give a choice of brokerage or mutual funds. However when they typed in Vanguard instead of clicking on the icon, they did get a choice and were able to select brokerage.

All of this has been done. I'm not a new user to Turbo Tax and to importing my investment accounts. The steps always given here are steps we have already done and they don't work. Turbo Tax needs to fix their issues when customers are paying for their software. It should run smoothly and seamlessly as a service that's provided. I sign in to my Vanguard account & input the account number along with the document id on Turbo Tax. Import should work 100% of the time. I should be able to do my taxes when I open the software 100% of the time.
Similar situation:
Turbotax error message states that no information available to import from Vanguard Brokerage. Called Vanguard and they said the error is not on their end. Plugged in the correct Vanguard account number and document number into Turbotax. No path forward right now unless enter all info manually which is exactly what I try to avoid by buying Turbotax.
