Can't file more than one return with Desktop Premier Version

I am writing regarding the Desktop Premier Version, for which I have a 5-seat license.
 
After completing the filing for the first person, I am unable to start a new return. Despite multiple attempts to exit the current return—and taking care not to overwrite any data—the program consistently loops back to the first return every time I restart it. I have already tried several troubleshooting suggestions provided by AI, but the issue persists.
 
Has this been reported by other users, and is there a known solution to resolve this loop so I can begin a new return?

Which operating system are you using, Windows or Mac?

Did you click on File at the top left of the desktop program screen and click on New Tax Return?

 

Have you saved your tax return, closed the TurboTax program and then re-booted your computer to see if that would correct the problem?

 

This type of problem has not been previously reported.

Are you on Windows or Mac?  Did it save your existing return ok?  How are you trying to start a new return?  Go  up to File-New Tax return.  Have you updated the program?  Did you try reinstalling the program?

OR if you can't update it, try reinstalling the program. It will have all the updates to date.


Since you now have to log into an Intuit Account when you first install it, all your downloads and licenses are listed there (even if you bought it from somewhere else) so if you need to install it again or install on another computer, even on the other operating system (Windows, Mac) you can download it again. And the download will have all the updates. Sign onto your account here to download the program and to get the license code

I wanted to follow up and let you know that after reinstalling the Desktop Premier version for Windows as you suggested, I am now able to create additional returns. It resolved the issue I was experiencing after completing the first return.
