I was charged for Tax Audit which I did not need when filing. Would like to get Credit for $45.
I am having a problem having purchased Turbotax for Home and Business. I am no longer a business owner and am now being paid via a W-2. I also received Social Security Payments for the first time in October and there is nothing in the Home and Business where I can add the payments I have received since they are taxable. Is there any way I can cancel the software I have and get a free replacement with a product that has deductions for travel expenses to work, Form SSA 1099 Payments, etc?
Thank you.

There is nothing you have mentioned that could not be entered in Home and Business. If you want to downgrade to a lower version of desktop you can request a refund for that product and purchase Deluxe or Premier. Any version of the desktop download software has all of the forms and all of the schedules.
Not sure what travel expenses for work you are referring to if you no longer have a business. W-2 employees cannot deduct job-related expenses on a federal tax return.
Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.

You can also purchase the desktop download from various retailers such as Costco, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Staples, Sam’s Club, etc. etc. etc.

When you use desktop software, there is an additional fee to e-file a state return. You can avoid that fee if you print, sign and mail the state return.
